Great Light Institute is based on a unique ideal. It gathers friends from East and West, armed with ideals and enthusiasm, cherishing each other. Through the teaching of the Chinese language, To deepen the cultural appreciation and international exchange, the school which offers instruction in Mandarin Chinese – on the premise that philosophy, history, culture, and language cannot productively be separated. Through all activities, we hope to reach both those that have a natural affinity for Eastern culture and those of Chinese descent.

Great Light Institute conduct and numerous programs to enhance the understanding of Chinese language, Arts, philosophy. With regular class, lectures, seminars, exhibitions, book publishing, periodicals and other influential publications, these programs provide explanations of distinct views in an effort to establish a dialogue as well as comparison with western philosophy.
